Hezi Cohen Gallery is located in the south of Tel Aviv and resides in a stand-alone building on Wolfson Street. The space of the gallery is 450 square-meters and spans over two floors.
The museum-like space dimensions of the Gallery indicate its intentions: to create display conditions that follow the requirements of contemporary art in its infinite diversity. The gallery is arranged to change its physical layout anew for each show. In doing so, it will support art projects that are not necessarily object-based and promote artistic experimentation.
The gallery's point of departure sees the artistic global art scene not in terms of medium, but as an accumulative model of different attitudes that go beyond conventional differences, without being anchored to the local and while avoiding the idea of the global as homogenous.
