Meir Pichhadze | Sundwon | Gallery talk with Yehuda Probuchrai
On Friday, 21 April, at 12pm, we will be hosting artist Yehuda Probuchrai in the exhibition ‘Sundown’ for a gallery talk on Meir Pichhadze’s work.
This exhibition came to life in cooperation with the artist’s family and estate representatives. It presents personal and intimate images such as his unique watercolor works – less familiar to the public – alongside iconic works such as the family portraits and children letters series, the “death flowers” works, abstract paintings and more. The syntax of the current exhibition follows the perplexing movements of Pichhadze’s style, or, perhaps better, his absence-of-style that was formulated out of the position of the objector.
